My First ride back after 20 odd years off a bike was with the old geriatric at Marysville on mothers day back in 2009, spent more time on the ground than actually riding the bike, not much has changed I still enjoy little rests on the ground every now and then  Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin

Your '79 IT probably was a good bike!

Like Sandra, I was a late starter.  I didn't have a 'mini-bike' and access to a farm or similar property.  My first (real) ride was a '84 ish XR250, which I borrowed from a mate that was in Germany at the time.

First expedition was at Mt Dissapointment.   Rode like a gimp!  Loved every minute of it though.  The XR took me all over the Woods point/ Gaffneys Creek area, which is still my favorite riding area.

I still ride like a gimp, but now I do it in style!
