G'day all, I have not doing much riding of late because I have building or rather rebuilding my 1975 Bultaco Frontera 250 which I purchased in Feburary this year. When I got the bike it was in very sorry state but fortunately 99% complete.
After much thinking, welding, bending, machining, plating, fibreglassing, rewiring, painting and swearing last weekend I had my first ride on it. So hows it go? The 250 two-stroke feels a bit constricted compared to todays bikes but is very strong down low to midrange with flat top end. It has very short wheel base and a big comfy seat and heaps of fun to ride due to its light weight (102kg dry) and low seat height.

Future plans for the bike will be to ride the Vinduro (vintage enduro) series next year and maybe rec. reg.

Nice job Wade. Perhaps you could bring it to the January meeting.

Wade,  If you have done half as good as the photos, you have done marvelously. Great work, yep! bring it to the meeting.

Yeah ok I will bring it along. I may be able to bring an Alpina as well if the owner is agreeable.
