Has anyone had trouble with Motobat batterys ?
i went out to give the DRZ a fright yesterday and it wouldn't even light the instrument display.
i tried charging it and it would not exept a charge
When i took it back to the place of purchase , they told me it had 1 volt in it and it was stuffed and it was going to cost me $ 80 for a replacement.

Regards

I've only heard good things about them!

I still think its necessary to keep any bike (that's not ridden weekly), on a trickle charger, and start it regularly to keep it in check.

To recharge below 9 volts you cannot do it with the new digital chargers you need the old type or hook it up to a good car battery in series then try charging. I had one that died and when I pulled it out it looked pregnant. be interesting when I go to start the 525 in a week as it has not been started in a couple of months ?

Back on topic, forget Motobat Batteries, check these out http://www.shoraipower.com/
They weigh next to nothing and have more cranking power than stock batteries, i will have one in my 310 soon and will report back on how it performs.
