Pete, I have the bike for you, two stroke, 48 more CC's more than that 500CRE, Full Road Reg, only thing that lets it down is it's a KTM but it is an old school one with a good confident front end. I've only ever done 160kmh plus a hand full of times on it...
Is it for sale Tim?

Is it for sale Tim? If someone wants it and is happy to pay the amount I want for it, yes it's for sale. But I don't want you to pay the amount I want for it. You've got better things to spend your money on, not a 21 year old bike

Does anyone own a Husaberg TE 250 or 300. I'm looking for a new bike and tying to decide between the KTM 300 or the Husaberg. It seems the front suspension and triple clamps is the advantage for the Berg, but the 2012 KTM's look sweet and have the newer frame setup. I'm curious to know just how good the closed cartridge forks in the Berg are?

Mr Petrie, ask Dave and Row Smith. Dave has the Berg and Row has the Ktm in 250's. I like the feel of the Berg more than th normal feel of a Ktm front end. Al

Go the 250 KTM, it has a better frame but lacks the Ripper Forks, unless your a gun rider like Seano, you won't be able to tell the difference. I took Paul lacys Berg 300 out last week and rode the Sh!t out of it for an hour, i couldn't really tell the difference in forks to my 570.

I have heard some ktm dealers(boltons) may be offering the CC forks on ktm's for a little extra on new bikes. I have no idea if it's true as I have no intrest in the current kattos. E start is for girls.

Well the decision was made and purchase completed on the 2012 EXC 300. Bike feels great, loads of power and light as a feather. Needs a little more throttle control than the WR250F though. Was a bit thirsty on the first ride but i'll get that sorted out.

The tank is 10 Litres for the Australian bike but most of the websites list it as 9 Litres.
