This arrived in the mail today.

I know it won't mean much to many folk, but it is a very rare 'special tool' for the PE 250 N.

It's NOS and it's mine...all mine!

Is that the one that was mounted on the front forks and was supposed to be able to fully dismantle the bike?

I thought just riding it fully dismantled the bike?

Looks like a spanner that sits in the bottom of your toolbox, and never sees the light of day !!!

Yes, it has front and back axle socket, rear axle retaining socket and spark plug socket.  It will fit a number of other nuts, but was mainly designed for maintenance.

And yes, Mat.  You're right too!  When I first fired the beast up, all the nuts and bolts that I hadn't tightened up were scattered all over the garage floor!

Yes, you're probably right (too).  Fortunately, it came out to see the light of day and I grabbed it!

Serge,
Are you sure that is a rare tool?

I mean on southpark they regulary talk about alien anal probes & I think thats what that tool is! I could be wrong as i dont have special anal probes that I use. But in your case I think this could be correct!
