Just read that the Woods Point store may be closing and no more fuel available. Anyone heard anything?
Also read that the Eildon Jamieson road will be sealed by 2011.

I know the store has been up for sale
for years, maybe they have had enough???
Hope they don't seal the road as enough

Seems to be so. Saw it on DBW. Someone had rang them to confirm. Said the bank is forclosing on them. Very sad. It's a special place for many.

Spoke to the owner of the Jamieson servo on saturday, he said he supplies woods point with fuel and that the fuel pumping area is on a seperate title than the General store.
So it maybe run by the pub. His spoken words are:  There going to work out something.
So all is not lost YET.
