Actually, the article was about the Ambulance Service complaining that there was 21 helicopter rescues of trailriders in April alone.Usually involving horrific injuries after collisions with trees or other riders

A similar article was in our local paper The Latrobe Valley Express a few weeks ago. They interviewed one of our local paramedics attached to Helimed, the air ambulance in Traralgon. The air ambulance at Traralgon probably attends a higher number of accidents involving trail bikes due to it covering the eastern and north eastern parts of the state.

At the recent HCR, the Traralgon air ambulance attended to an injured rider and transported him to The Alfred.

I had a chat with a local police officer I know that works at Mansfield and he said that the Air Ambulance is getting called out that way every weekend so its just a reminder to slow down out on the trails.
