This is a spring out of an aftermarket brake pedal on my Berg. The short end of the spring has a few mm missing off it due to the end breaking off.

Wiggy,

It looks very similar to the foot peg spring I just re-painted for my PE.

Have you tried turning it over?

My Uncle Frank had 2 of those closing the valves on his Velocette.

Seriously - there is a great spring shop in Dandenong, I think it's John While & Sons.

Thinking Thinking - I think John While & sons were going to make a batch of clutch springs for the AE430 but I couldn't find enough owners who wanted to persevere and then it was gone.
Anyway - I don't think they are the mob in Dandenong Amberley Crt but either ones are good.
Good luck.

Looks like all fixed. One of the blokes at work found some stainless wire and made me a replacement spring.
