Sounds like a good thing, BUT check out the Warranty and the servicing prices before you buy. Had a look at this last year mmmmmmm. It's up to you. PS: Servicing is only done in the city. STILL A NICE BIKE

Carrn't afford a new bike ,i'll just have to stick to the old Berg

Really enjoyed the day on the G450X, some things to work on but off the floor a good ride. Will be considering it when it is time for me to change bikes again.

If you want any info on it have a look at http://www.motorcycles.bmw.com.au/indexframe.asp?PageID=30785

Some servicing by BMW to keep warranty is required, but oil changes etc you can still do yourself. From all accounts though the servicing cost is reasonable and owning the bike is on par with the main runners in the 450 class.

They also have a growing aftermarket supply, including long range fuel tanks and bashplate/rad guard.

Will be interesting to see how I ride when I jump back on my own wr450.

I followed "Miles" from BMW last year at the stockmans.

There good bikes and he had no trouble hooking her up and just moving forward, did'nt see a lot of wheel spin.

He lost me when he just rode over a large tree branch like it was'nt even there !!   ( I hate that )

I hope he is there again this year , very nice guy

Sorry Aaron, no 2T. But the airbox is nice and high to help out crossing rivers. That could be good for you. Tongue

In fact Miles and a few other BMW riders happily went back and forth through Camp Ck on Sunday of the HCR, when it was too high for most other bikes.

I think it is safe to say that Miles and the BMW crew will be keen to come along on the next HCR.

Regards

Mat.
