Title: No AMTRACTION?
Post by: Ian Robinson on May 29, 2008, 08,27:06 AM
Just testing the water here to get members thoughts.
As you all know the newsletter is the single biggest expense for the club. Even with the latest fee changes I believe the web only members still subsidise the newsletter to those who choose to get it posted.
The club has a good bank balance at present but that is only because of the HCR. If we could not run the HCR the club would be running at a loss.  A responsible committee should seek ways to minimise or cancell out that loss. Its a difficult question but give us an idea of what you would prefer in the poll.

I think you should add another option to the poll.

Once every three months and a reduction in membership.

Girls and Guys,  Any reduction in services is a recipe for disaster. Ask any marketing company.  Ask youself which came first, the reduction in rides, or the reduction in membership. A vibrant group will attract the membership it deserves.
Think about it,

I Agree with Phil. The newsletter should stay monthly in hard and soft copy. To have it even at 2 monthly intervals would not be viable for riders wishing to try and plan ahead for rides.
