Title: AMTRA HCR 2013 HIGHLIGHTS
Post by: Peter r on April 23, 2013, 10,41:12 AM
My HCR Highlight was Colin Boyd when he stopped to pick up the Fella with the Broken Wrist, he got outta the Car with his Police Hat on, and the rider thought he was a Cop.

Seano's Face when i lit up the Back wheel on the 570 and smoked the Camp site out. He couldn't get on his bike Quick enough to give it a Go Himself.

No injuries on Sunday.

Sunday night's post ride banter (and red wine session!)

Great tracks and great camaraderie.

Highlights of the weekend for me were,

getting to ride an hcr for the first time in 15 years instead of 4wding or being on a check point.
Watching all the entrants have fun.
Watching the 60 or so club members work together to make the weekend a success.
Not crashing on the first hcr I have ridden.
The fun on Sunday night however I may have been a little pissed after the red wine session with Serge and Mat and quite a few beers.

From 4.30am thursday when we left till 7.30pm Sunday when we got home had a great time. I felt for Gary and Serge having to deal with such a big trauma and by all counts they did a great job. It was great to see the positives of the use of an Epirb and the value of carrying one.  I was happy to see most members pulling there weight and going beyond the call. Some others still need to learn some people skills but on the whole we should be very proud of how things went. The property was in premo condition and was a credit to all who have been spending there time and money going there for working bees . The course was just right not to hard and not to easy and most were buggered on Sunday . Bring on 2014

You AMTRA people make me SICK - out with your mates in the bush, roosting around and having fun, great scenery and fresh air (except next to the dyno)

I'm REAL SICK I missed it all, especially the red wine night and extra especially seeing Robo riding his first HCR and getting a bit pissed, you who beheld witnessed two rare events.

Well done to all concerned and the block picture on Monday!!!! looks like nobody had been there.

I wish I could say I missed you Ken but I was so busy having a good time I did not even notice you were missing. Your name did come up in conversation a couple of times though.
