As I said this morning after seeing Sentinel it looked a lot bigger than 450Ha, the fire edge is several Km of Razor track.

No change in the size of the fire reported as yet today, there is a band of rain passing through there at the moment.
The number of recourses is down again.
Looking at Sentinel it looks very good as there is only one small area that is still burning.
Dave, they do know what they are talking about Smiley

Latest update, looks good, fire contained and no change in size from the 1800Ha Smiley

Sentinel also shows not hot spots at all in that area Smiley

That Ovens Fire is still burning on it's western front, it's a fair way into the Buckland valley, from Sentinel I measure about 4km SE from Beveridges station still burning. Phesant Creek Track, the track where the two DSE people were killed the other week, is the track we use when we cross Beveridges.

Hope we don't have any more fires up there for the rest of the season.
