Title: Ringing ears and a bit of deafness after riding
Post by: Nic103 on April 01, 2012, 09,46:20 AM
Does anyone find they have these issues after ride? If you do, how do you fix?

I was thinking it might be worth trying some earplugs?

My partner was thinking to try a helmet with less ventilation (therefore less noise)

Or should I just suck it up and get used to it?

Hi Nicole, i have been wearing Ear Plugs for about 10 Years now, and it stops the ringing in your ears.
Ps: you need to buy good ones, not the Yellow foam cheapies, i use " 3M Brand part No: 1270 "

I have Radians ear plugs, they are custom molded to your ears, take about 15min to set and are fairly cheap and last for ages. Adventure Moto sell them, I got mine from ebay though.
