Just got the renewal for the husky from Insure My Ride = $252.
Went to their online quote system to check price and for IDENTICAL specs quote is $218.

They do this all the time hoping Muggins is too busy or doesn't give at rats and just pays up.

OK, not a lot of $ but it's a delberate tactic whether it be bike house car or whatever - and a blatant ripoff.

Rang em - "oh i think they adjusted some pricing last week"

Yeh - bullpoo!!

I paid mine a couple of months back, got a call from them saying they overcharged me and paid back the difference.

Every year its cheaper for me to take out a new house and contents policy, than renew my existing one with my loyalty discount?Huh?? Every year they ring a couple days after to ask why I didn't continue my policy? I say because its about $90 cheaper for a new one! They say, yes but you wont get a loyalty discount  Roll Eyes(AAMI)
