Just got word that one of our members (Adrian Manger) was Air lifted to the Alfred yesterday, after entering the Stockman's Rally. He said after getting way too much air off an Erosion drain, he was able to throw the bike away and then said "I hit the deck hard.
Busted:  3 Ribs, Shoulder, some Spinal damage not sure how bad, and some other things. His Brother was holding the phone to his Ear so he could talk to me, he's flat out on his back and will be in Hospital for weeks.

Bike slammed into a tree and is now Fu%^&d.
See i told ya KTM's are deadly.

Hey Pete, I think this is a good time for the club to have some one send him a get well soon card, may be we should bring this up at the next committee meeting as something that should happen in the future. Charlie should also get one as he is getting operated on Thursday. Will

I rode at the Stockmans Rally myself and I nearly did the same over one of those drains, it was pretty dusty and I did not see it until to late, bloody glad I managed to stay on ( just ), sorry to hear about your mate I heard at the end of the day that someone got taken out by a chopper and I saw another bloke with a busted arm-shoulder getting in a 4wd and someone else told me there was a lady rider with a busted arm, I hope there all back on bikes soon as possible.

Cheers Mick.

Peter the body will repair and to assist further you may look at some other medical treatments.
Acupuncture or Aroma Therapy may be worth an investigation although these probably won't treat the condition described!

Update on Adrian Manger:

Shattered Disc between C6-C7(that's up near your Neck) will be replaced with some special plastic thingy, 3x Fractured Vertabre.3x Broken Ribs and Fractured Sternum. Also loss of some movement in the right Arm.
And from what he told me, his helmet broke his Ribs.

I was there too  Grin

Sorry to hear that one of our guys got hurt, I hope you’re at least comfortable.
I did the 100km loop and all went very well , the dust was a issue on one section but just hung back and took it steady through there and it was all good , I had arm pump early on anyway lol
Had a few close moment throughout the day, the big kato just loves to deflect of those small pissy rocks (must get a steering damper) . There was also a big log half way over the track that was marked but I heard on the grape vine that a few guys rode into that !!
I used about 11.5 lts in the 380 for the loop so I am very pleased; I toned down the PV setting for this and really concentrated on riding in a taller gear instead of ringing its nuts all the time.
Much smoother and I must say a bit more enjoyable.
I also made it a point to crack the front wheel up whenever passing someone with a helmet cam RFLOL  , this almost went very wrong for me on one occasion passing a new Husberg  and forgot to see the right hander , but did the big slide and power out and looked like a real pro HAHAHA I SH*&^ myself .
So did the loop really fast but just ran out of time and fuel to do the 60km loop .
The one thing that really shocked me was driving through Marysville , I have not been up there since the bush fires , Those poor people , they really didn’t have a hope !! .
Lest we forget

Just thought id'e finish off this Post:

Adrian Has just had his first ride back from a Massive Off back in 2009.
He has lost a lot of movement in his Neck, and has Numbness in his Back.
Just be careful when your riding out there in the wild Blue Yonda, ride responsibly and don't take risks, " Ride to the limits of your capability, just like me".
