Which part of tassie are you staying in? What kind of riding do you want to do? There is heaps of state forest in the north which provides endless amount of riding and is usually less than half an hour from where you stay. There is also a group in Launceston which run tours. I think they are called Devil Trek tours. Title: Re: riding in tasmania? Post by: Tim Dykes on October 13, 2009, 07,33:20 AM The north east of Tasie is good if you want to do a loop from your car, plenty of riding in that area. I haven't been there for 10 years so I can't tell you exactly where or what as I just followed the guy in front ::) Title: Re: riding in tasmania? Post by: Clarky on October 15, 2009, 10,45:34 AM I grew up in Tassie (Launceston and the North East of Tassie). I will also be there 20/12 to 27/12 and will be going for a ride with some mates in Tassie who do heaps of riding there. Lots of great rides from just out of Launceston through to Ringarooma and Mathina (that is a day ride 1 way). If you know dates you want to ride I could line up a few and we're off. Cheers Clarky
