Title: Christmas Party ideas
Post by: Willbar on August 20, 2010, 10,31:21 PM
Hey Guys what would we like to do for a Club christmas party this year, a ride/Pubman with either a christmas lunch or dinner afterwards, or a barby some where with santa coming along with pressies for the kids may be at somewhere like gumbaya park . What about an 80s theme disco for the whole family, give me some ideas so I can come up with something good. Will

Gumbaya Park had a heap of 'attractions' last time I was there (12 years ago).  It gets busy thought, especially that time of year.

BBQ sounds like a good idea though.

A family orientated day I prefer but a ride day also sounds like a good idea, do both.

How about a family day at laser skirmish then a barby after then we could also do a chrissie ride with Pub dinner after as suggested by Tim.  Not on the same day ofcorse. Will

I'd prefer just the social, little cost type of do.
BBQ, few drinks at say one of the reservoir parks.
My family wouldn’t go for the laser stuff.

Ok I think an oberservasion trial by car ending at a spot were we can picnic and barby the afternoon away. Probably do a poker run along the way and have 2 or 3 different spots to leave from with a few different roots to go by. Would probably take around 2 to 3 hrs driving to do the route. Costs would be a tank of fuel, $15 for poker game and food and beverages for you and your family. If we make enough from the trivia night perhaps I can get the club to sponsor santa's pressies for our kids. how does that all sound. Will P.S I will need a handful of helpers on this one so if you can help please offer before I ask you.
