Found a place for a spare sprocket and gear lever under the seat of the 450KTM.
The sprocket is secured with 2 zip ties after drilling 2 holes for them in the shelf in front of the air box chamber.
The gear lever is held in place with 3 zip ties around the frame. Fold the gear lever tip back against the spring and zip tie in place to keep it away from the battery before you zip it to the frame.
All being well there will be a photo attached.

Hey Sergey - Don't you go knocking my first photo insert, just followed the instructions for size etc. the instructions need updating as photobucket has changed since Paul. Will go for bigger next time.
Pee Air - your always reliable for a comment or three - do you have time to sleep at night - thanks for the heads up on the safety issue but I always leave a bit in case they need to be pulled up after the white heat and 'G' forces from my riding. I'm guessing your better place would be a bit rude or have you strapped that spare tank on the back to carry bits in?
PS - double click on photo to enlarge it.

Craig "I've got a big one" Dawson. So do you still ride my friend? With regards to the sprocket - you know how many times rides have been rooted because of bad maintenance including sprockets lacking teeth (I will avoid the pun) even by the well healed punters. So in an idle moment I secreted the sprocket and lever away just for my fellow Orange team members you understand. 50ks - wash your mouth out - why just last week we managed 105 ks and I had to get my spanners out for my riding buddies twice, but thats club life aint it.

Made one HCR customer very happy on Sunday. We caught him being nursed along by the sweeps in front of us with knobs on his front sprocket where the teeth should have been.
The bolt came un-done with a foot on Zebs big ring and for $175 our customer finished the ride.
There will be another in it's place for the next ride, but don't get too sloppy with the maintenance unless your well cashed up.
