Nup. The food raffle at the general meeting.

Just before I left in the laste arvo I checked the fridge it was still chokkas. There was 50 odd kilo of bacon and a poo load of other leftovers.

My 2006 raffle raised a few hundred that went back into profit for the event.

BTW - It's a bit of a shock getting any answer to a question here. Most of the committee don't seem have any interest in answering any of the members queries. Many of them seem to have forgotten that they are answerable to the membership.

I didn't want to see a repeat of last years issues. We've learned that lesson the hard way.

What is with the secrecy ?

All I am asking for is a straight answer ?

What are you trying to hide ?

Steve,
Secret meetings, held on and invitation only basis and the committee private section on this website that has been used to discuss a number of members members have led to a great deal of distrust and suspicion of certain elemnts of the club and it's operations.

If you want to stand for election next year you have a golden opportunity here to show that you can give straight answers and that you have backbone and credibility.

Paul there is no secret about the food, the perisable stuff which wasnt a great deal mainly bread, bacon and some hot dogs, were given out to everyone who stayed and packed up because no one up there had enough space to safely take it home or couldn keep it at home until the wednesday, so i made the call to hand it out to anyone who was still up there at 11.00 on the Monday. The non perishable was stored (hopefuly) well enough that the mice dont get to it and be used at either next year or an another event the club decides to hold up there thus saving money for the next event and which would hopfully be more that we would get from auctioning on the Wednesday night because we only had approximttly 27 people there. As for the deceit and secrecy Paul i do believe that if you ask me a straight question i will always give you the answer, I might not like the question or you might not like the answer but they will always meet and we will move on.
