Title: The Surgeons Folly
Post by: Phil Randall on March 05, 2011, 02,51:22 AM
I have come to believe that surgeons are a bit like motor mechanics and plumbers, but without the warranty!!.
My broken leg of last year, though it seems like years ago, has not done what nature intended, or what I was assured would happen!!
Anyway I am due in Warringal Private Hospital tomorrow to have the whole thing done allover again, bone grafts and new screws. A couple of weeks laying about and then something like 2 months on crutches to reminisce on my stupidity.
Have fun on the HCR, I would like to have been there!.

Sorry to hear Phil, don't be to hard on ya self, these things can happen to anyone of us every time we go out on the bikes, it really sucks when we hurt our selves. I hope it heals quick this time around.

Sorry to hear that old boy, make sure you give them nurses hell won't you. Will
P.S please don't include Mechanics and Plumbers in the same category as Doctors , People have more respected than the average Doctor does.

Just spoke to Phil on the phone, he's doing OK, but I don't think he's looking forward to going through the rehab phase all over again.
