I can recall the day Australia went to the dogs...
The day that I had to pay for sauce on my pie.

Very good Rosco, tell them all how you got it and then set the next problem.

1,(2)3,(5)8,(11)19,(23)42,??
Difference in brackets
Double 2 add 1 = 5, which is the next difference...continue to logical conclusion ie. double 5 add 1 =11, double 11 add 1 = 23, double 23 add 1 is 47, add 47 to 42 therefore 89 must be the answer.

Todays clue is 1,7,11,20, ??

2 clues there.

Interesting, you got the right answer but you came up with it a different way than I intended!

I was thinking like this;
      double 1 +1=3
 then double 3 +2=8
 then double 8 +3=19
 then double 19 +4=42
 then double 42 +5=89

Shows that there is than one way to skin a cat!

I was mowing the Front Lawn tonight , with My Trusty Greenfields Briggs & Stratton Quantum 35 Mower,which i've had for 21 Years and never put a spanner to it or put oil in it. I got about 3/4 of the lawn mowed " then the thing just stopped". It couldn't be fuel, i just topped it up. So i pulled the starter and the thing spun like crazy "No Compression", i took it in the Garage for a look see, took the spark plug out, pulled the starter cord and the piston didn't move a Inch. This Lawn Mower has been through hell over the last 21 years, so i would highly recommend Briggs & Stratton and will be out looking for another one Tomorrow.
If i neglected my bike as i have my lawn Mower, my bike would only last 6 Month, they don't build anything like they used too!!

There's one on Ebay at the moment and i might buy it, is there anyone who Live near Hampton Park that could pick it up and take it to the General Meeting for me PLEASE!!!
