Girls on Film (after midnight version) by Duran Duran will always hold a special spot in my heart...
I'm with you Fish, the best video ever for a young teenage boy to watch after midnight at home alone with only one hand on the remote control......
I dont remember ever calling it a remote control?Huh
I think he means a Hand Shandy.

I remember seeing AC/DC at the Sale Memorial Hall back in the mid seventies, with about 300 screaming fans, also saw Ted Mulry Gang back then too.
I did enjoy seeing Deep Purple back in the early 90's at the swimming thingy, glasshouse basketball place you know across the street from the tennis center.

Video, Girls on film was hard to top.

The swimming thingy is now called "The Lexus Centre" which is the training venue for Collingwood footy club !

Yeah,

I saw Deep Purple (and Status Quo) on the Double Trouble Tour early '00.  They rock! And there was something special about seeing Ian Gillan singing Smoke On The Water, live!

Thanks MarcL, it's been a while since I was Downtown.

The Deep Purple concert was my favorite. They had "The Church" open for them, they were pretty horrible.

I did see Guns N Roses at Calder. It was real hot , then it rained, then it was muddy, then the concert started. Grin

This is a tough one..But I've always liked the video from "coffee and TV" from Blur..
As for best gigs..That would be a toss up between Helmet,Sonic Youth and Muse.
