Things around here are a bit grim at the moment, so let start something new to take our minds off those things that drive you CRAZY, So here we go, this is my favorite clip staring a crazy Man by the name of:
Ozzy Osbourne & lead Guitarist Zakk Wylde and there awesome live gigs (Note: Must of been filmed at a coupe of gigs, as you will notice Ozzy's look changes a few times in the song. This guy is a total d!ckhead but some awesome songs. This would have been one hell of a gig to be at, cop the croud, they go off there heads. So kick of ya heels, rip of the Fishnet's Brad and put on the Headset or crank up the volume and enjoy this ripper.
Ps: The girl at 1.57, not bad tits.

Well I don't think I have a favourite video, although some of the stuff ZZ Top and Robert Palmer did was good to watch.

I must be showing my age there. Lots of new stuff is good, as long as the volume is mute.

As for live bands, Hunters and Collectors was a favourite. Big expectations for AC/DC next year.

I don't get out much huh!

Hard to beat this one the best live shows I've ever seen was Freddy Mercury and Queen or a close second Plant and Page doing all the Led Zepp classics , but were else can one start, Nirvana, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, ACDC, Black Sabbath or just Ozzy on his own almost anything from these genre's gets me going. Dont have a favourite video and don't get to see many live bands these days.
Stand out live bands for me have been Pink Floyd, Neil Young and Zoo. Could not hear properly for days after that one.
Live shows are close to being out of reach for a lot of people. I decided to go and see Fleetwood Mac as it will probably be the last time they are touring and it will cost over a grand for the night out for the four of us.

My wife took the billy lid to the PINK gig, and he couldn't hear (ringing) for a couple of days.

The best concert I would have been to was Pink Floyd in the eighties and and The Who was great a couple of years ago (pitty I didnt see them 25 years ago) and Girls on Film (after midnight version) by Duran Duran will always hold a special spot in my heart...

Ah, yes!

The Ozz-meister!  Any film clip with Ozzy in it is a good-un.  I've got a DVD of the 1999 "Last Supper" (Black Sabbath) Reunion Concert, and even though Ozzy's brain is as fried as Sunday morning's eggs, he gives his fans everything he's got.  I would have loved to see him (and Sabbath) when they toured here around 1975

C'mon, you cant go past the Red Hot Chilli Peppers !!!

Pussy music!
How can a band be any good if they haven't been around for at least 20 years?

Big expectations for AC/DC next year.

I'm with ya, brother!

Dont have a favourite video

Me either.  I just like watching concert footage.  Don't mind if they over-dub studio recordings to create a film clip though.

Could not hear properly for days after that one.

Days, DAYS!

I saw Black Sabbath (aka Heaven & Hell) with Ronie James Dio out front in August '07, and then saw Judas Priest September '08.  My left ear still doesn't work properly!

Black Sabbath live at Festival Hall in the 70s was special, the one I remember the most as the best was the Rolling Stones live at Kooyong tennis stadium in the 70s - that was really something and you were reasonably close in that small stadium. I also recall seeing the WHO do "Tommy" live and that was pretty good.

On a different track, I vaguely recall that there were some great bands live at the Sunbury festival, but it is a bit of a blur now! Similarly around the same era there was another outdoor rock festival on the banks of the Murray at Mulwala. They had Canned Heat who were fantastic. Again I can't remeber the many Aussie bands that performed - some good, some great and some very ordinary.

I should have added that there were no video clips back then when all the great music was performed - you either saw them live or listened to the vynal records!
