Oh Wow...I have been practising standing while riding more and more latley...WHY DIDNT AYONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS EARLIER ( Grin)..No seriously I started riding April 2011 , so im not even 2 years old on a dirt bike yet...But my riding has been taking some big steps lately...and the last few rides i have been standing most of the ride - and yes, its easier to ride a bike this way, you have way more control of the bike (who would have thought)...I was going through some trails last weekend..with a bit of uneven ground in sections, nothing major but enough...i was in 3rd and 4th, standing and just flowing..loved it.So to all of you who have told me over and over that standing is easier and that Momentum will become my best friend as i have been finding out lately more and more that momentum gets you out of a jam that would normally have had  me go splat previously. So i just thought it was a good time to thank all  who have ridden with me over the 14 months or so i have been with Amtra...for all your tips and help, and drying of tears and words of encouragement. The Daylesford training days and the support of all who have offerd to tail on the rides i have gone on..not as slow these days ha. Major thanks to my hubby Johnny d who has spent countless weekends with me and patiently worked with me, all that time on the bike has been precious to my learning. A special thanks to Al Mason, Rossi, Phil R, Will (yeah yeah even you) Peter R (you taught me clutch and throttle control way back in the early days) and many more. You guys have been big drivers for me. Major thanks aswell to our awesome couple Freddo and Marls...it was these 2 who found me putting around Woodside on my little Pitt bike practising my moves while Johnny and a mate were going through some woops. We caught up on a corner now affectionatley known as Bobs Corner, and they told me all about Amtra..and Ta Daa...here i am. A happy rider Smiley..So thank you everyone involved for helping me get to where I am now!!...HAVE A GREAT DAY...LOVE BOB.

Hey Grasshopper.
Dont think you will find anyone who has offered and put in anytime (ow the time Huh) with you, would be dissapointed with the out come thus far. If you keep putting in the effort in the same amount you do your passion for the sport, in a few more years we will all be looking to you for advice? Keep it up nan, we will be there to help out when needed. Until your running sweep on my rides!
