My Dianese pressure suit style armour is now cactus. After 12 years the mesh is worn out. Looking for some feedback on what everyone else has.

I got the Alpine Star one.  It fits well, and doesn't move around when you're riding.  The mesh is quite strong, and looks like it will hang around for a while.

Pat ,

You thinkin about a neck brace now that your armour is stuffed or are you going to go bracless .... If you decide to go with a drace it kinda makes a big difference to which body armour you end up choosing.

One of my mates just recieved Alpine Star Binonic armour and matching brace for 480.00 out of the USA and eventhough i havent worn it it really looks the goods and he says its very comfy and stays put when on.

Dont buy a Thor pressure suit like mine, it certainly offers the protection but the built in kidney belt rides up your stomach and ends up around your rib cage if you dont adjust it constantly.

You Dianease stuff lasted 12 years maybe you already have the answer to your question .

Not paying Dianese prices. Its like payiong big bucks for a helmet-you tend to hang on to it too long because you payed so much for it. I prefer mid range gear. Looking at the Alpinestar armour/brace combo.

Bought the Alpinestar Bionic2. Neck brace comp. I must say trying it on reminded me how worn out my old set was. Payed $254@ Peter Stevens Ringworm. Normally dont like buying from the evil empire, but the price beat any USA internet deals i could find. Good to see a distributer being competitive. To get the discount you have to mention your a member of the Dirtriderz forum to get 15% off.

Congrats on the purchase, hope it works well for you!
Recently i've noticed a lot of prices have come down to try and compete with U.S stuff, i bought 2 Jerseys from Peter Stevens in ringworm and at $59 a top for Fox and Shift that is equal to buying from the U.S.
Hopefully Aussie retailers are catching on, and realising that consumers are sick of being robbed blind by them!

Not the retailers to blame, but the distributers. Monza imports is owned by Peter Steven so they are an exception. They must really be feeling it from overseas sales. Expect Fox, Shift, Alpinestars to hopefully come down in price.
