Title: New Website for the Girls-Ladys Post by: Mick on March 22, 2009, 01,34:11 PM Here is my better halfs new website for the girls-Ladys,
she took her post off as 1 or 2 flogs on here told her that she should and I should advertise elsewhere, well I dont get intimidated to easy so I will let the girls know about her site, Sue is a top chick who wants something out there for the girls and we will both be at Broadford at easter and the following weekend Alexandra girls ride day. We own both pre 85 enduro bikes and new bikes and will be running in all the Vinduro,s this year, we are not out to steal people away from this website but rather share more info with others over many websites to make the Enduro community even better. We would also like to get into some more modern Enduro riding and we thought this might be the place to ride in none race events and to get out and meet new people, but hoping not to meet to many flog's like chrism who choice to jump in with a big mouth instead of checking out the sites before commenting, because if chrism had a look at our forums, he would have seen a very big advert for AMTRA. If anyone from here is going to the Broadford Bonanza Both Sue and I will be easy to find, we will have 2 blue bike shades side by side with Aussie flags flying and there will be 3 bikes, My PE 400X 99% restored and 2 DT 175's 1 red 1 blue all would be more than welcome to come over for a chat. If anyone has a pre 85 bike laying around that has a headlight and tail light working or not then brush the dust off and enter, more details on our websites. http://girlsndirtbikes.com/forum/index.php Cheers Mick. Not able to come that Easter weekend. All the best at Broadford Brad Title: Re: New Website for the Girls-Ladys Post by: chrism on March 23, 2009, 04,23:39 AM Apologies Mick and Sue can’t say I looked.
Perhaps yourself and Sue could become members of AMTRA and go on some rides with us. I think you’ll find that euro bikes are well represented. We have monthly club meeting in the St Davids Church Hall in Doncaster East starting at 8pm on the last Wednesday of every month, yourself and Sue are more than welcome to attend. There’s a free bbq before hand and supper after the meeting. Hope to see you there. Regards, Chris. Title: Re: New Website for the Girls-Ladys Post by: Monty on March 23, 2009, 07,10:46 AM it is a great idea that Sue started a site for female riders. My mum and sister have become members. Bikes are not only for the men. GIRLS WANT TO HAVE FUN TOO.
Title: Re: New Website for the Girls-Ladys Post by: Mick on March 23, 2009, 06,38:22 PM Apologie excepted Chris.
As for your invite to the club meeting, we will not be able to make it as we live at Shepparton, but at a later date we would like to join the club when we have more time, later in the year, due to work on weekends and Vinduro's on the odd weekend off. A little about us, up until about 3 years ago I was away from bikes for around 16 years, Sue only started riding 2 years ago, so I would be up for rides with average riders and Sue would be better doing something a little slower. My ride is not brand new, but is a fully rebuilt RMX 250 99 model, and I get to ride it from time to time in the hills at strathbogie ranges.
