M2R, either the X2.5 @ $199 or X3 @ $250. Been very happy with mine on fit and finish. Haven't tested impact strength too much though.

I've had my AXO carbon Fibre Helmet for 9 Years ($899 i think i paid) best helmet made back then, and super light. AXO don't make them anymore, so i had a look at the Fox & Thor carbon fibre helmets, the Thor is way too big, but the Fox is smaller and better looking.
Price: Fox V3 Carbon Quoted $549.00.on the Web $499.95
Remember: If you think your Heads work $300.00 buy a Cheap Helmet.
If you think your Heads Worth the $499.95 - $549.00, buy the Better one.

OK done a bit more homework, there's only 2 colours White/carbon and clear carbon with Monster Graphics.

it dont matter what anyone else thinks cause we all got different shape heads. Go to a bike shop and put them all on to see how they feel. that said i have a fox v3 large which felt good in the shop but now have to buy a medium liner for cause it gets loose after a while

Although, I like many others prefer to purchase the best quality helmets from overseas, due to them often being 40% or more, less in price, they will not come with an Australian standards sticker on them, so you can be fined for using one, and could even get a knock back from TAC on a claim, so be aware of the risks before purchasing. After working in the motor cycle helmet industry for a few years I new the quality of helmet which I purchased, was well above the Australian standards anyway, so I was happy to go with common sense approuch, but it is your call. thanks heaps for all the replies..i went and tryed on everything..

quiet funny actually..most the shops didnt want to sell me a fox v3 carbon..apparently coz some dude died wearing one it has dampened the hype. when he landed the helmet just smashed like glass.then again landing on your head from a 80ft jump probably would do that..

after trying alot on i went with a "troy lee design air".it felt very comfy and i looked so sexy  Smiley

helmet + quick strap + goggles = $460. rocked up with $500 so had change for a coffee and burger on the way home..

hey peter r...i love your avatar,,,are they twins with beanies on??
