OK,

I say 'easy' cos last time I did it, it was!

Go into YouTube and click on the video you want to post (make sure you have permission first though!)

Copy the URL, and paste...simple!

What I don't understand though, is that the video is only displaying the address link, when it should show a YouTube screen with a button.  Usually, I would click on the YouTube button and the (youtube][/youtube] would appear.  Then you would paste between the brackets and away you go.  But at the moment, its coming up with a 'Invalid Youtube Link' message, so I'll have to work on that.

However, I have given Nathan special moderator's powers!  If you go too wild, he has permission to come to your place and break your posting fingers!

 Bob has done it as it should be Serge, used the Youtube box at the top of the write post box post and put the link in between the

[youtube][/youtube!]  (red added)
 
to get the direct link to ready to play off youtube on our site, the way you said would only show the link and then when you click on it it open a new window and plays.

Yeah, that's what I normally do, but this time it wasn't working for me!

Now that Bob has done it, I'll have to go back in and see what I'm doing wrong.

I think your fingers are safe! It's a long way to go just to break a finger, now if it was a leg, that would be a different story!!  Cheesy Cheesy
