Garry,   Rec reg is illegal in any built up area. That is where there is a posted speed limit. However, bring your salad roll, pull up a log and we will pick you up on the way back out.  We try to please all comers.

Gary,

You could also come out to Cobaw on the 25th, this is rec reg suitable as we stay in the state forest the whole time.

Only an hour out of Mel to the NW.

I have been on the Marysville ride with rec reg and done as Phil suggested for lunch.

Up the Calder Hwy.  We meet at the BP outbound just past Calder Park raceway as it is easier to lead people in rather than give directions.  It takes about 30 minutes from the servo to get to the ride area.

Cobaw state forest is located between Lancefield and Kyneton.  It is a relatively small area, about 3500 Hectares, with farmland surounding it.

Usually dry, lots of rocks, fun to ride.
