Evening Peeps,

Im after some advice re camping at Neerim South.

There's a group of us through DirtRiderZ riding at Neerim Sth Saturday 21st and a few of the blokes are planning to camp the night Friday night (i will to if i'm allowed!!).

(if anyones interested in coming along for a ride, let me know - the more the merrier!)

I know when i've ridden there previously i've seen people camping down by the river - is that on Latrobe River Road?? and if so is it just a case of continuing past the DSE car park, are there signs to follow etc (i've only ever followed people down there and theres generally been s/t involved - no good for cars!!!).

is there any reason why a tent and a few swags couldnt be set up on the edge of the DSE car park??

any advice would be appreciate

thanks in advance

Dustin,
Thats correct the Latrobe River Rd continues to Hawthorn bridge camp ground down by the river not sure on road signs but after the DSE trail bike park take the left fork and keep going (google it)its a 2WD dirt road no car issues.
Camping is permitted there also has two drop toilets.

The DSE trailer park should have signs to advise about camping although never seen anyone camp there before.
