I just registered cant post until authorised, said something about sending email to administrator before I can post anything. Not like I have anything worth saying anyway.

Anyone know what are the consequences if my 13yo on a rec registered bike get
fined for no licence. Do they loose there play lunch for a week, a fine, and are parents fined or loose demerit points?

Hello Amtra
JORML now has a guest book @ http://www.custom-machine.com.au/Junioroffroad/guestbook/guestbook.html
so if you could fill in your name and email we can gauge  support for JORML concept.
If you know anybody else that would be interested in the idea,
Please let them know
Thanks

Hi All
After Speaking with the senior sergent of the solo Division.
He is very positive and said he would help in any way he could.
He mention about a free access area has anyone herd of this?.
And also add some other points to think about so here is the start

Proposal for Junior off road licence

1/ Age group 12 to 18 years
2/ Hold of a Junior off road licence
3/ Bike to have rec or full registration
4/ Be under the supervision of a full licence holder
5/ Be riding with in a ride group lead by the ride leader and followed by a Tailman
6/ Able to ride where  rec registration is applicable

Post reply in JORML forum please

Free access areas have been proposed for many years. More than 20 as far as I remember. I think there was a trial of one however I believe they have never got anywhere due to the difficulty in setting them up/supervising them and policing what happens there such as all riders travelling one way on tracks and there was also the insurance/risk that any government would be exposed to in setting up an official area.
Peter Ellard would be the man to talk to.
