Title: Echo Brush Cutter
Post by: Peter r on December 30, 2012, 03,53:30 AM
Just a report on the ECHO Brush Cutter i won at Auction at the November Meeting.

I have a block of land in South Morang it's 1085 Sq Mtrs (1/4 Acre) and the grass and weeds are about 3 ft high, instead of Paying some Yobbo $300 Bucks to cut it for me , i put this magic Machine through it's paces.

I only get the grass cut once a year, and only after the Whittlesea council send me final notice to cut the grass or get $1400 fine.

I have had an ECHO straight shaft brush cutter for the last 23 Years and never had a problem with it, i have even put a Steel cutting Disc on it and chopped up gal roofing sheets with it.

Anyway, the Basstard seems to be a prick to start, just like an XR600, but once i got the knack of What does what and how you hold your Tongue, the thing ripped into life.

Man has this thing got some GO-NADS, BIG BORE 34cc weapon, it's like the 570 of Brush cutters. It rips through everything even managed to rip out a 1" sapling. It took me 3.5 Hrs to do the Job, and the way i look at it, it cost me nothing cos i didn't have to pay the Yobbo $300 Bucks to do the job.

PS: Keep it clean Boys, i know some of you are dying to comment on " Cutting the Grass"  :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D
