Who got hammered by the hail today.
My car has a few extra dents in the roof, no damage at home apart from a few leaks caused by the hail blocking gutters and down pipes.
I spent about 3 hours boarding up windows at my mates house in Lysterfield. His brand new Range Rover sport is a write off as his merc van. Nearly every house and car that was out in the hail in the estate is damaged.
I could not believe the damage to cars. Windows completely missing, headlights and tail lights broken, even wiper arms bent to weird shapes.
At my mates house his security door, which is custom made with a steel frame and burglar proof mesh has been torn apart.

My car has a few extra dents in the roof,

Sorry to hear that.

We had no damage here (or at the factory), but I have never seen such big hail stones!  Took some pics of them just to remember.  Fortunately, both cars were under cover.

I hope they didn't cop that at 'the Yard'.  And if they did, I'm glad I wasn't there!

I was riding Heyfield/Maffra Rail Trail with the young bloke and we saw it coming !
In Traralgon we sat in Hungry Jacks with the light flicking on and off. Not a lot of hail down here, but I haven't seen so much rain in such a short time for a few years. On the way back home we had to drive through flooded streets where the water was up to the bottom of the doors on the Hilux !

Hi Guys. At sunny Rowville we got pounded. The Laser lite roofing on my purgola was destroyed. My Ute that is normally in the garage, was outside due to some bike maintenance. I quickly brought it in during the storm with a few dints on the bonnet and a couple on my forehead. The garden looks like it's been hit by the worlds largest weed wacker. After the the storm past there was ice and bits of tree every where. Luckily the house is ok just a few cracked and chipped tiles no leaks that I can see.

Cheers. Michael N
