Hi folks thought I would ask some questions with what people prefer on the L1/L2 rides?
Do you prefer when out riding:
1) Narrow (single trail) slow and technical
2) Disused/Narrow 4WD tracks faster less technical
3) Dirt roads fast and furious
4) Uphills or down hills or both
5) Any combination or something else you prefer Huh

For example I like a mix of tracks, conditions and terrain.

I like bourbon, coke and a mixture of the two!

Does that help?

I like 450 single trail. Not the really tight stuff that has you knackered after 5 minutes.  Also like the narrow 4 wheel drive stuff with a bit more open flowing thrown in.

Basically like pretty well all of it.

How I see it , every track either comes to a bog hole or a hill. I like a fast flowing track but every track only lasts for a few kms bfore it changes again , guess thats why you never get bored of riding in the bush.
I like 1 and 2 for a L 1/2 ride...but anything is fine.

Serge behave.
I was referring to singe trail (not tail) next time I will choose my words better and just noticed one spelling mistake could be a disaster.

For a level 1/2 ride, I think number (2); 4wd tracks faster less technical would be the way to go for that level of riders. With a bit of number (4) thrown in as well, but not too steep... Wink

All of the above, hate having to lift bikes over things like trees and large bolders, 1/2 size 4wd tracks are great as long as they are not to tight, hill climbs are great as long as they are not too slippery as I hate having to wait for an hour to get the group up or down, less technical 4wd drive tracks are just transport sections to the next technical section, have not tried river crossings yet but not realy that interested in getting wet I seam to get wet enough playing in mud without playing in water 'Will

Most of the ride is narrower 4WD tracks and a small amount of road transport for linkage. There will be water (cause it rained), small hills and some very narrow tracks also for linkage. A variety of things all aimed at L1/L2 with some stretching of capabilities from time to time to develop peoples capabilities. Anyone who wants to cross the Latrobe River in the afternoon is welcome to try twice!
