Title: 2012 Ktm FREERIDE 350 Post by: GFoz on April 05, 2012, 09,22:24 AM The new Freeride 350 looks like the perfect woods weapon but maybe not enough poke for open trails in Australia. What do you think of it?

Would probably suit plenty of riders and make them better riders. Dont know about that seat though. Might suit a stand up all day riding style but thats not for my old legs.

Bit concerned about the fuel tank capacity though. Might need a bigger tank for some or indeed most rides.
I'm interested in this one as it fits my buy criteria. Title: Re: 2012 Ktm FREERIDE 350 Post by: flipper on April 05, 2012, 11,41:41 AM I've been watching this bike with interest for the past few months - it looks like an ideal machine for those 'tighter' tracks!
I'm waiting to see the ride reports when it gets released, and keeping my fingers crossed that we get to see some of them available over here. Title: Re: 2012 Ktm FREERIDE 350 Post by: GFoz on April 07, 2012, 01,20:22 AM Ktm will probably bring out a comfy seat and larger tank in time. I am also keeping an eye on this bike as on the rocky and muddy uk trails you can't get the full 450 power to the ground and the weight difference should make the long days on tough trails more enjoyable with a lot less effort. Looking to get the 2013 model though as not keen on first year production bikes.

Also saw the UK pre-order price is around 6000 pounds, so that sounds reasonable... |
