Not sure if your ability will change. But the handling of these husabergs is amazing. I see you have a crf450. If you know anyone with an 09-10 Husaberg, see if you can get a ride on it. For a big four stroke it handles like a 250 2smoke. It is still heavy if you have to pick it back up off the ground though.
I had the chance to ride on a team 24 hour race back in June. We rode an 09 Husaberg FE450. I normally ride a KTM 200, so it took some learning but once i got some laps in it was a fun bike to ride fast.

Pete has a berg that is not doing much at the moment. Grin

I like the 390 concept, it is one of the few bikes I have seen the press release and thought of going to put a deposit on one.  Then the bank balance reality fairy hit me with a large slice of lemon, wrapped around a brick.

Yes the price of a new Berg is the "Stopper" for me too.

The bike we rode at the 24 hour race, is being converted into a 390. That way the shop has a demo 390 without wasting a new bike for demo duties.
When I get to ride it I will put a ride report up.

Back in January this year, a bunch of blokes I hang out with decided to help a friend who owns a Husaberg dealer. So we organised a husaberg Demo Day. We had 3 09 450's, an 09 570, and 08 380 (sleeved down 450), an 08 550 and 08 450.
Had a small display of Husaberg hardparts, several new bikes on display.. We had a 2 mile natural terrain motorcross track with a small detour off the track and into some tight single track for about a half a mile. It was a cold damp day. (January is winter here) traction was primo. about fifty guys showed and everybody got to ride each bike several times. BBQ lunch. Then rode till dark. Was a great day.
