Falling off doesn't hurt, it's the sudden stop that does the damage.

I was riding a yamaha, and that was 2007, pre seeing the light, so whats that got to do with the topic?

Yeah they are ok if ya want to prune trees,I need to cut big trees, so a man needs a big chain saw.
