Just got a quote for insurance on my Berg. Come back at $1150 on an insured value of $13995. I have 4 cars insured with Lumley (2 drivers and 2 in restoration) for $1970 and an insured value of around $140,000.
This seemed a bit high to me when making the comparison. Anyone else insure their bike? If so what bike and what was the premium??
Thanks

I got mine with insure my ride ,full comp ,replacement bike in first twelve months if stolen or write off $340 anual or $97 quarterly, which i have chosen. Swann insurance came in at $420 anual or $40 monthly but had a $25 dollar one off payment to set up the monthll

I've got something similar as Seano with insuremyride.
Full comp was cheaper than QBE, and the deal was better (can't remember exactly what!)
Do an on-line quote, but be VERY careful answering the questions, 'cos one stuff up will send the quote skywards.
I think they also give a discount for being a member of a club.

It was with Insure my ride. Maybe I selected a wrong option but it was pretty straight forward. I will try again and see what happens.

Check the insurance rating you picked.
At rating 1, $400, at rating 6 (0% NCB) it was $1100. And that was for my dodgy suburb.
That was full comp, which can be less than TPFT.
