Hey Guys

First up a bit about me.

I have been riding since 1972 when I got my first bike for Xmas (Damn those Victa motors had power Shocked

) I live on the edge of the Otways and these days compete in the most victorian mototrials events as clubman and enjoy the odd squirt around the bush on my rec reg Scorpa trials machine (only one in Vic). So if you have ever seen or been passed by a middle aged guy with a ponytail, on a wierd looking almost silent blue thing without a seat it was most likely me!

Now to the piont -

Parks Vic has released plans to shut down almost all the tracks in the Otways and I'm not impressed (puting it nicely)so I'm doing all I can to do something about it. I would also like to fathom the support for a protest ride to Spring Street to make the seat polishers listen to us for once!

Sounds like you needed a bus or 3 full of dirt bike riders at the open house meetings.

Oh well I'll bung a submission in for ya.

Here's a thought. Organise a massive protest ride through the newly closed tracks. The cops and the DSE will not have the resources to chase down and fine 100 or so riders.

Nice idea about the closed tracks but I don't think 100 law breakers does anything to help trail bike riders because we already have enough wankers making it hard for the responsible guys!

I did an AMTRA ride back in 1986 and am looking here now for the support of a responsible group to take on those that are hell bent on taking away our rights....

I'd like to think we can get the goverment to listen to us but it hasn't happened yet, maybe a protest ride ie what it takes? Huh
