What are the AMTRA policies WRT posting ride footage to YouTube?
Are there a privacy constraints around this, especialy when the footage contains pictures and video of the AMTRA and GUEST riders?

Regards,

Brad

Brad

At the moment there is no AMTRA policy on that type of thing.

I can't see us developing a policy unless we have a problem.

We just hope that members do the right thing in what they show and that the members and AMTRA are shown in a positive way.

I have seen Brad's video and it is fine. I see no problems but I agreed with him that it was a fair question to ask. I agree with the plan to go ahead unless we encounter problems. We always have the ability to pull material off our site if we think it inappropiate.

Interesting point Dennis. If the celebs can't stop the paparazi and it is not illegal to take a photo I can't see how this could be an issue.

One thing that I have noticed is that any footage on TV of any car or bike seems to have the number plates pixelated. The driver isn't  though - go figure ?

yep, go figure...

I have no problems with videos of me riding going on the WEB, but some paople could get upset. Brad was just being cautious and I agree taht it was a god ide to first ask if the club had any policies on the issue. it is a pity that some other members don't ask or seek advice on club policy before doing stuff!
