Hi all I am new to riding trail bikes and am interested in joining your club but would like to take on a few easy rides to see how I go I am riding an 06 WR450 rec registered and am living in Wangaratta very keen to check out the Abbeyyard. I have been riding around Chiltern Mt Pilot national park for about 12 months but with no-one to ride with am not really testing myself greatly and have not taken many risks as if something happens I'm stuck with no backup. All replies Welcome and anyone keen on showing me the ropes much appreciated. Dont mind travelling a bit for a ride but my weekends are out until April as the Mrs is working on weekends and the kids are to young to leave home on their own. Thankyou Peter

G'day Poiter,

Welcome!
We have general meetings every last Wednesday of the month, but thats quite the travel for you haha.

Theres actually a HCR Pre ride/working bee this weekend in abbyyard which would be the perfect opportunity to get check it out but sounds like your a bit occupied. The actually HCR its self may be a great weekend to get serious riding done over two days and thats based near the end of april

When Phil puts on a ride in Marysville they are a great start and getting a little closer to you than most other rides. At least 4 of us from Wodonga area have already booked and paid for the 2013 HCR.
