To go on rides with this club do you need to have full rego or can you just have rec rego.

You can have REC or FULL REG , it's all up to the ride organiser (leader), some rides state Full Reg if they are starting In town, or will be heading to town for lunch.
Some rides start and don't go on any numbered RTA roads so yes you could do that ride with REC reg.

The Neerim Sth ride welcomes Rec reg as it does not use any RTA numbered roads. The next ride here will probably be in May, the calendar will have the details when its on.
