Title: Rides OK for experienced female rider and learning partner?? Post by: motomouse on August 21, 2009, 12,29:22 PM Hi All,
I've heard great things about AMTRA and I'm really keen to join - I noted the question from the female rider and was encouraged by your reply - as I have been used to being the only female on most of my rides. I rode harescrambles competitively (but 15 years ago!)and decided to buy my WR250FX recently to get back into riding. My partner has just got his learners so we can roam legally, and is new to dirt riding. Would we find rides which both of us would be able to do, I don't want him to be put off but I need some challenge to regain some of my ability?? Cheers Jo Title: Re: Rides OK for experienced female rider and learning partner?? Post by: Willbar on August 21, 2009, 09,18:04 PM Hi Jo , The Cowbaw ride is the best place to start, check teh calander and you should see it posted for the next few months, then Marysville Toolangi ride is also good just a little harder if wet. Regards from Will, PS if suits today Cowbaw is on this Arvo and you would be most welcome to come even if you are not a member yet, check the calander for details.

Sorry I got your message a bit late to join the 22nd ride - I'm over in Geelong so I'll keep an eye out for a ride we can try. Thanks for your reply Jo |
