They look like they were taken with a disposable camera. At last years HCR took hundreds of photo's at the the river crossing (Buckland River) 500m before CP1. At this point the heavens hadn't opened up and was early enough to get the first and last riders, being most people. Here are the 232 shots at the river crossing on Photobucket, have fun browsing.
