It's been a tradition for I don't know how long for but it's on again, Cup Weekend family camping at Abbeyard.

Different rides going out over the weekend, most of the riding around Abbeyard is level 2 standard.

Might be a 4X4 day trip again.

There will be a Trivia night in the shed that all campers are expected to be part of.

Film night, films TBA, suggestions, a kid’s film, and a grownups one or two.

Club put on BBQ one night, got to get the go ahead from the Committee for the $$$ but shouldn't be a problem.

Load up the family for a weekend in the Buffalo valley...

I hope to be there this year, along with a couple of Vinduro guys from South Australia who are keen to ride the High Country. 

Ultimately, I'll sign them up as members, but they should at least pay for a meal!

If i can make it i will supply the adult fillums!  ;)

 I was thinking if people brought along their favourite film on DVD we'd then draw them out of a hat, could be for example "Dust to glory" or "Traffic"

At the moment I will be going up.
I will be putting on 1/2 Day rides Morning & Arvo.
And heading out to Wonnangatta Station for a look see.

I did this last year and had a few punters come along.

Might be fun if we Put on a Ride around the Narrow trail on the block, doing time trials  ;D ;D

Looks like i am going. Doing pizza Saturday nights. Post EOI on here if you want some. $10 ea. 4x4 trip Sunday to Craigs hut, all day via Cobbler Lake, return via Pineapple Flat conditions permitting.

I'd be in that,  as long as  we can have meat!

I don't want any of your tofu, mung-bean and dandelion dust concoctions!

Prawns,Pineapple, salami and anchovies and I'm in!

Abbeyard pizza sounds good.  Real food please ;D ;D.

Blue Rag is not the track it was last year, the DSE turned it into a Super Highway when the Harrietville fires were on earlier this year :(

I have put in a permit application to MA for insurance cover for unregistered bikes. Should know soon if granted. So no need for TAC85 permits for minibikes, hopefully.

Is Blue rag still worth a look, even just for the views which look amazing? I'd really love to check it out, maybe Haunted Stream as well, is that do-able from Abeyard?

I will be incorporating Haunted stream in a up and coming 2 day ride for maybe feb or march if your interested Sporto ;)

MA minibike permit approved. 8)

 The club put on BBQ hasn't got wings so that's not going to happen.

Trivia night is not too hard to do, I'll bring along trivial pursuit as a base to work off and go from there, might try to change one of the categories to Motorcycle trivia.
Sunday night is the trivia night, starting 8:30ish.
(If you have any motorcycle trivia  ;) )

Films, for the Saturday and Monday nights. I’ll take the club projector up there, bring along your favourite DVD.
 

I've got some DVDs I'll bring along.  Some have already seen them.  They are light-hearted entertainment for those of us who are between 40 and 50 years of wisdom.  A genuine trip down memory lane.

Iv got a huge jar full of Carlton draught bottle caps. Maybe one of the sections of the trivia could be bottel cap trivia!

Also got heaps of wicked movies!

Thank you, hubby is pretty excited about the weekend, & I'm real happy that he'll be able to get out & ride with some blokes. We've had a squiz at some of the photos from last year & the camping area looks very nice. Would love to bring the kids, maybe next time, it'll just be me & the better half this time. Cheers KJ
