Where I want to be...

« on: April 30, 2013, 12,15:25 PM »

Back to the third weekend of the month again, no HCR this month Wink

As no other venue has been suggested it will be back to the Panton Hill hotel again, get there 6 - 6:30.

The first one of these I pulled the pin on as I didn't think there were any starters, sorry Ian Tongue

The second one there were five of us, the third I counted 26 and if it keeps growing at this rate well have around 125 there this month Grin

As the numbers are getting up there it's getting important that people who are coming post up their intension of being there. It would be good to have a fair idea of the number of people coming the Monday before, I'm sure we can juggle a few more closer to the day if the bulk of people have given notice.

Sorry Darren, the bloke who runs the place has said that he has standards and... I'll talk to the man and we'll sneak you in. Tongue
I'll try and get us seated away from the music again so we can hear each other, poor old us Sad
I'm not getting there till about 7:30, I'm sure you'll all manage without me till then.

Given that my taxi driver (Robbo) is going, I'll come along too.

My wife is away and my daughters are out, so I may ab well be with people who care!

Thanks Tim.  I can organise a table near the kids play room (if you are happy to deal with kids going past) or the only other option is outside if you want to get away from music.  We will have heaters going and it is semi enclosed so stays reasonably warm.  Let me know

Might make it, with the wife, depending on what time the hard core riders finish up at Cobaw. We may be a bit later than those softies at Blackwood. Tongue

Last time we were outside and that was okay particularly when we grew in numbers, we just pulled up more tables.

It also kept the riffraff (Peter R) away from the better class of people dining inside.
