To Seano if you are like me and can't afford a new Hussa it turned out that the head gassket was allowing pressure into the water jacket and overheating it. There were no other signs of a blown head gasket like leaking water, oil or lack of compression infact it probably had to much compression so it was my last resort to strip it to find the problem. I have since found out an easy way to check may be to fill your radiator right up then run the engine with the radiator cap off and watch for air bubbles in the system this would be a good indication that gas is entering. Hope this helps your problems .

Peter,
if it is not too late can you put me down for this ride.
                     thanks
                           Karl (Husky 450 )
To Seano,
I also had overheating problems with my 2007 te 450.Like Bruce the head gasket had gone with no visible signs. Thankfully the head gasket was replaced under warranty but I also had a thermo fan assembly fitted(a husqvarna part readily available) which I manually switch on and off via a switch on the handlebars as further insurance when in tight single track or for slow going on hot days. All 08 models onwards have fans fitted. My bike also has force radiator guards fitted which do restrict airflow at slow speeds.Ive had no issues since this work was done .Hope this info is of some assistance.
