Doing a pre-ride on the 26/09/10 of a few areas being Tracks in Noojee, Fumina and Neerim South; covering the La Trobe and Tanjil state forests. Meet at 8.30am for 9am on the bikes the tracks will be a mix of flow, ups and downs, narrow, no river crossings. As this is a level 1 to 2 ride please respect your fellow riders, remembering we all have to start and learn somewhere. Take care if overtaking and if you are taking it easy try to keep a left line to allow for people to pass. Whatever you do ride at your own pace this is not a race just a good day out with some mates who all want the fun and to get home safe. P.S. The bike in front always has right of way. Fuel for 120K's minimum NO fuel is available in the ride area. Lunch will be on the trails, Rec Reg welcome. Start location is the T junction of Mt Baw Baw Tourist Rd and Vesper Rd. Please Note two things the Vesper Rd I am referring to is a RHT at the top of the hill on the C426 MT Baw Baw Tourist Rd as you head from Noojee to Mt Baw Baw. There is NO sign post it is best identified as a RED clay cutting entrance. If you go to far down the Mt Baw Baw road you will hit the next T junction of the C465 Fumina Rd on RHS so turn around go back up the hill and take the first Road on the LHS being Vesper Rd. Note some locals and maps also call this section of Vesper Rd, Ferguson Rd.
Attached is a map.

Moved the ride to the Sunday as there were already two rides on the Saturday. Gives folks a choice or if you are lucky a full weekend of riding.

Hi Brad. I'm quite keen to come along. Do you mean we need 120kms in our bike, or will we be swinging by the cars to top up.
I've never stretched my crf250x out so not 100% sure what it will do. Cheers.

Julian, Brad is on a 250 also. He tells me its like the Exon Valdez with a 13 Lt tank. U shouldn't have a prob with his extra fuel. Cheers, Stuart.
