Folks got a leave pass and going to do a recce ride from Noojee to Reefton, lunch there and then return. Bring some lunch money.
Expect to do around 110K's, the meeting place (see attached map)is the corner of the Yarra Junction Noojee Rd and Boys Camp Rd from here we will find a suitable place to park and ride from. Please note there is NO FUEL IN Reefton.
As this is a recce ride there will be creek crossings (NOT Rivers), dirt roads and tracks, exploring and back tracking to sort out the final ride links. As I know some of the area I will call this a L2 ride as there is some clay to negotiate in places and probably large puddles. The weather for this ride is bloody beautiful Min 6 and a Sunny Max 20 with some afternoon cloud.

NP Darren. BTW the weather should be the same from Friday onwards, I am hopeful things will dry out a little by Saturday.
If you make it, bring some coin to buy lunch at Reefton they make fantastic burgers at the pub.

Got a ring in who whats to come along , mate of mine quite an accomplished rider so he should not cause any problems but he is not a memeber yet ( working on him).

Zeb that's fine NP at all, let him know the flow is a bit stinted on the recce rides due to map reading etc...
The lunch at Reefton is well worth it.
I've been had on this leave pass cost me a outdoor setting, had to mow the grass today after work and cook dinner.
Its worth it though to go riding and I get to pick what I cook, can't deceide, home made Pizza or BBQ Chicken?

Thats fine hey aint paid up so he dosnt get to have an opinion on the flow ... He'll be cool with it. GO THE HOME MADE PIZZA AND AT LEAST YOU GET TO USE THE OUTDOOR SETTING AS WELL SO ITS NOT SO BAD , think of it this way youll have somewere to go a sit when she starts hammering on you .....  |

I would love to come on this ride but not not sure if my level is good enough yet,
I was the guy that came on the last tri area ride on the KTM 250 ,it was my first ride with Amtra.

I am keen to be on your ride. Have you given any thought to starting from the Limberlost Rd motorbike carpark just off the main Powelltown- Noojee Rd?

Paul and Mark you are most welcome to attend.
WRT where to parking lets meet where I have indicated at 8.30 or before and work it out from there, my concern is I don't want to go to far east to start with as fuel will be tight.
Am happy to discuss and see where that goes.
Also there are no expected Rallye cars in the area this weekend.
