Title: Cobaw Sat day ride level 2+
Post by: Russell on September 02, 2008, 09,59:42 AM
Cobaw State Forest is situated between kyneton and Lancefield, it is only about 3000 hectares, but the riding is a blast. This ride will be a good mix of open fast trails, sandy loamy tracks with bermed corners and a lot of technical slow trails with a few rocky hillclimbs. This ride is classed as a level 2+ average trail riders will not have a problem as long as you are reasonably bike fit. If you are a beginner Mat has a level 1/2 ride on Sunday.

Meeting point is at BP servo on the Calder Hwy, just past Calder park raceway 8.00am [8.15am DEPART]. If you want to meet us at Cobaw give me a call.

We will stop back at the cars for lunch and refuel, so bring lunch and extra fuel if you have tanks under 10 litres.

Should be back at the cars no latter then 3.00pm?
Please contact Russell ride leader on 0419 314540 if you are coming. Rec rego is okay for this ride.

Note People
This is Saturday the 6th, not the 7th as shown at the top of the above post. For some reasion the website changes the date and Dave is still getting to the bottom as to why.

Mat R's afternoon Cobaw ride is the 7th.

Yeah, stay away from my beginners ride  ;D.  If the ski plans fall through I may see you there.

Have fun.

Mat.
